I Remember the Sun is a film about memory and imagination, about the conflict of how things are, and the way you want them to be. It tells the story of a middle aged woman's fight to regain control of her life after her circumstances take her to new, dark places. The film rides the line between reality and inner consciousness, as the woman works through her past and her present, finding she must accept her situation and the notion that sometimes, to be lost is to be found.
