Good Job Nicky Boy!

That was great! It wasn't the red carpet premier I was promised but I loved it anyway. ;) You obviously have a long prosperous career ahead of you.

I thought the script was fantastic. Have you made any other films I could see? You just might be the next big thing in Australian cinema, great film.

Tuesday, March 13, 2007 9:35:38 AM

Wow! I've just jumped on to see how the film is going and there are all these comments. Thanks guys.

To answer the question about budget...simply put it wasn't much! Everyone on the film, all cast and crew worked for free. Everything in terms of locations, props, costumes, 1959 Cadillac etc etc etc was for free. The biggest expense was catering for all of us to eat each day!

Thanks for all the comments everybody, keep them coming! I really appreciate the feedback!

- nick.

Hi

Anonymous Monday, March 12, 2007 1:37:35 AM

Well done... your production value was great. I must also say that the Sound Designer and Original Score team should be extremely proud of what they have produced. You both really held the film together where the scripted lacked. Nick, your concept is brilliant and I like your ideas as a director and look forward to seeing you evolve. Bring on the next and larger project and always dream...congrat's...

Wow. A friend sent sent me this link and told me I'd like it. It looks simply fantastic and has just the right amount of cheese. I can't believe you got Marisa in it. I've put it on my iPod so I can show my friends at filmschool.
