In the wake of the devastating earthquake that rocked Newcastle in late December 1989, a young city couple decide to take a camping trip and venture out into the wilderness, in an effort to rekindle the spark in their relationship and take a much needed break from their rat race lives.

But after an unexpected wrong turn and run in with a disgruntled looking farmer hell-bent on trespassers, they soon lose their way.
